Evan practises in commercial, public and family law, including State and Federal taxation disputes.  

Evan holds a Juris Doctor with First Class Distinction from Bond University and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the University of Queensland.  Prior to coming to the bar, he worked as a graduate tax analyst at a Big Four accounting firm and as a solicitor in litigation at a national law firm. He also served as an Associate to Justice John Logan in the Federal Court of Australia as well as the Supreme and National Courts of Papua New Guinea.  

Evan has appeared, both led and unled, in the Court of Appeal of Queensland and Full Court of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.   

Before entering the legal profession, Evan served in the Australian Army, Special Operations.
